1. On January 5th Muriel Bowser tweeted "to be clear the District of Columbia is not requesting other federal law enforcement personal and discourages any additional deployment without immediate notification to and consultation with NPD if such plans are underway".

2. The AP Morning Wire Bulletin reported 2 days after the capital riot the "Capital Police rejected offers of federal help to quell mob".  Note, the US Capital Police would not have been able to make such a decision without consulting with Nancy Pelosi and Mitch MCConnell.

3. VanityFair.com reported that Christopher Miller was at the White House with his Chief of Staff, Kash Patel.  During this meeting DJT informed Miller that ten thousand National Guard Troops would be needed on January 6th.  Christopher Miller remembers Donald Trump telling him "you do what you need to do, you're going to need ten thousand National Guard".  Miller went on to say, "That's what he said swear to God".

Forty-four Republicans voted against proceeding with the trial against former President Donald Trump, the clearest signal yet that the Senate will ultimately acquit the president of the impeachment charge against him for a second time.  Three Republican senators signaled on Tuesday that the vote is a barometer for how many senators will vote to acquit the president when the trial is over.  “I’ve got to believe that it’s going to be highly unlikely that there’ll be anywhere near enough for conviction,” Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) said, according to The Hill. “It takes some mental gymnastics to on the one hand consider this to be an unconstitutional action, on the other hand, to consider conviction is part of it.”

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) said he would be “very surprised” if any Republicans changed their minds during the trial.  “If you feel that you have no authority, then you can’t go on and say ‘well we have no authority but I guess I’ll go ahead and convict anyway,’” Hawley said, according to The Hill. “I’d be surprised if many or any of those people change their minds on the underlying question of whether or not to oppose a penalty or not.”

Sen. Mike Braun (R-Ind.) said the Tuesday vote was a predictor for the ultimate outcome.  “I think just like the one a couple of weeks ago was,” Braun said, according to The Hill.

Tuesday’s vote mirrors one cast last month when 45 Republicans voted to declare the trial unconstitutional.  House Democrats, joined by 10 Republicans, voted on Jan. 13 to impeach Trump on a single charge of inciting an insurrection, alleging that the president directed the mob which breached the Capitol on Jan. 6.

Trump denies the charges. In a speech given on the day of the Capitol breach, the president told supporters to “peacefully and patriotically” make their voices heard.  “I’m gonna vote like I voted the other day through the trial. I don’t think it’s constitutional, I don’t think we should be doing it,” Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) said, according to The Hill.

The impeachment managers and Trump’s attorneys spent roughly four hours on Tuesday persuading the senators on whether the trial is constitutional. The central argument by the impeachment managers posited that if the Senate was unable to try a former president, then presidents would have a so-called “January exception” to commit impeachable offenses during their last days in office knowing they could not be tried. The defense attorneys called that idea “nonsense.”

“If my colleagues on this side of the chamber actually think that President Trump committed a criminal offense … after he’s out of office, you go and arrest him. So there is no opportunity where the president of the United States can run rampant in January at the end of his term and just go away scot-free. The Department of Justice does know what to do with such people,” Trump attorney Bruce Castor said.

A federal judge in Texas extended the suspension of President Joe Biden’s 100-day moratorium on deportations until Feb. 23.

U.S. District Court Judge Drew Tipton in the Southern District of Texas on Tuesday ruled that the federal government cannot make immigration enforcement changes without consulting Texas. As a result, he extended the temporary restraining order by another 14 days, asserting that the state of Texas would face more harm than the federal government if the extension wasn’t granted.

”The irreparable harm that would accrue to Texas if an extension of the [temporary restraining order] is not granted before consideration of its motion for a preliminary injunction is more substantial than any harm incurred by the defendants,” wrote Tipton in his ruling, adding that his ruling will give parties more time to “provide for a more fulsome record” to assist the court in “adjudicating Texas’s motion for a preliminary injunction.”

Americans have had it with the Republican Party. The Party offers very little, if anything, without President Trump who had a backbone and knew how to deal with criminals, thugs and abusers.
Republicans ignored the greatest election results for a US President in history and align themselves with what now has become the communist left. Republicans remain silent, like good little sheep, and don’t dare to suggest that the election was stolen in the greatest crime in history. The Democrat media might attack them.

Instead, Republicans jump over each other to try to please the Democrat Party who are evil and just stole the election from them. The Democrats are now so emboldened because they know they will never lose an election ever again. They own the machines and the criminals and processes to steal every election in history. They are now proposing to lock in this criminal activity in a bill that will fix elections forever.

This is fine with weak, lost, and dumb Republicans who are really only concerned about how to enrich themselves. Here are some additional thoughts from a reader, comparing the Republicans to victims of abuse:

A critically important analysis of our current events is to understand the current Republican (Reps) relationship with Democrats (Dems) is that of the abusive spouse (usually the husband) and the victim spouse (usually the wife). In these relationships, the husband may do something like slap the wife hard across the face for some trivial transgression. When the wife, in shock, protests that he slapped (or hurt) her, his reply is “I didn’t slap (or hurt) you.” and he brushes it off like nothing happened. Or he may even turn the tables and ask her why she’s making a big deal out of nothing. He gaslights her.

I’ll pause things right here and ask you to reflect on that verbal exchange in light of events from 2020 such as the summer time rioting. The Reps protested that Dems were rioting. Dems (and the MSM) reply that “we’re not rioting, we’re mostly peaceful protesting.” How many times do Repubs state the obvious Dem transgression, crime, moral failing, etc. only for Dems/MSM to say “no it isn’t/no we didn’t” in the same vein as “I didn’t slap you.”

Back to the abusive husband and victim wife template. Stating the opposite of and/or denying the reality of something is gaslighting and the purpose of it is two parts. The larger element is that the abuser is trying to construct a relationship with the victim such that the abuser is able to abuse time and again, and suffer no negative consequences (the victim’s wife doesn’t report anything to the cops, nor does she leave/separate/divorce the abusive husband).

The second element is that in denying the reality of their abusive actions, the abuser may insinuate that the victim is crazy, no one would believe her, she is making a mountain out of a molehill, and in general sow seeds of self-doubt within the victim, trying to break her down mentally. The abuser is hoping to make a doormat out of the victim. Obviously it helps if the victim has low self-esteem or lacks confidence, and has little or no support from friends/family/work colleagues, and maybe even needs booze, pills, or other crutches to get through the day, etc. Gaslighting is the primary tool, to psychologically wear down the victim in hopes of creating a sustained abusive relationship: alpha/abuser to beta/victim.

Which brings up one last element that the abuser needs to put in place to make for a sustained abusive relationship. That is that he must convince the victim that any other alternative to her relationship with him is worse than what they’ve got. So if she thinks or talks of leaving him, he will tell her that she’s damaged goods, no other man will want her, and in general create a phony bogeyman or paint an awful situation that awaits her, playing upon her worst fears and insecurities.

Going back to politics, the Dem goal with gaslighting is to create a sustained abusive relationship with Reps, where Dems are the alpha/abuser and Reps are the beta/victim, and Dems never get held responsible for any and all of their criminal activity. Also the above explains why Dems are so gung-ho on the “sexist-racist-homophobe-Islamaphobe-xenophobe-conspiracy theorist-insurrectionist” labeling of Reps. It’s primarily geared for the Dem’s African-American constituents, who the Dems are victimizing in a sustained abusive relationship and are most likely to bolt from their relationship with Dems. The Dems are saying to these constituents, “If you ever think of leaving me to go to the Reps, they are lynchers, racists, etc. If you think we (Dems) are bad, Repubs are ten times worse.”

The good thing is that Trump and most grass roots Reps see through the gaslighting and are of strong enough esteem and confidence that they can say “that’s BS, you’re not walking over me” and won’t be moved off of their position. Trump seriously reinforced that backbone into his 80MM voters, which is what the Dems, MSM, and Deep State hate the most. They had just about totally demoralized the grass roots Reps, but Trump gave them a voice, courage, and new life.

Unfortunately Obama’s people/Dems have a stranglehold on DOJ/FBI/US Attorney offices and it’s going to be that way for another four years. So they will be able to get away with their abuse and not suffer any criminal penalties. Dems aren’t held accountable by the rule of law, and therefore more and more abuse is coming. Don’t underestimate how evil the Left will be in the days ahead.

It’s insane to own lies that are created to enable abuse and to try to apologize to criminal politicians or abusive spouses for their criminal and abusive acts. But, this is your Republican Party today.

Superior Court Judge James Chalfant issued his ruling in response to a lawsuit filed by Gascón's own deputy district attorneys, who alleged in their lawsuit that Gascón's policies — which prohibited them from applying sentencing enhancements that have long been considered mandatory under California law — would have required them to violate California law and their own ethical obligations. Specifically, they argued that policies are unlawful that require them to not seek certain sentencing enhancements that are mandated by California law.

With respect to cases that have already been filed, Judge Chalfant agreed, issuing a preliminary injunction preventing those policies from being implemented. Of specific importance, California law requires district attorneys who are seeking to drop sentencing enhancements to make representations to the court that certain circumstances exist, and the judge found that Gascón's policy would have effectively required these district attorneys to lie in court.

The judge also faulted Gascón's policies for failing to take into account the effect they would have on victims of crime, as required under California law. As Chalfant noted, "There is not a single reference to a concern for victims in the sentencing process" under Gascón's policies.

However, the judge declined to enjoin Gascón from implementing his policies with respect to cases brought in the future, noting that prosecutors generally have wide discretion in performing those duties. The judge was not swayed by the deputy district attorneys' arguments that California state law clearly and plainly states that prosecutors "shall" seek sentencing requirements in certain cases, claiming (in reasoning that would certainly come as a surprise to most speakers of English) that "shall" is not always considered mandatory in legislative statutes and that such language cannot constrain the discretion inherent in prosecutorial functions.

Moreover, the judge ruled, Gascón's policies should not have been a "surprise" since he explicitly ran on implementing them. It is unclear from Chalfant's decision how Gascón's victory in his local election is legally relevant to the interpretation of the plain text of California state law.

Gascón has promised to appeal the judge's decision, but also has promised to abide by the terms of the judge's injunction until that appeal has been decided.

Billionaire left-wing financier George Soros spent over $2 million of his vast fortune propping up Gascón's campaign, during which he explicitly ran on a platform of eliminating sentencing enhancements and cash bail and reducing Los Angeles' prison population.

The Biden administration quietly withdrew a rule proposed by the Trump administration that would have required American schools and universities to disclose their partnerships with Confucius Institutes, which some U.S. officials allege are front groups for Chinese Communist Party propaganda.

The Trump administration submitted a proposed rule to the Department of Homeland Security on Dec. 31, 2020, entitled “Establishing Requirement for Student and Exchange Visitor Program Certified Schools to Disclose Agreements with Confucius Institutes and Classrooms.”

Around 500 K-12 schools and 65 colleges in the U.S. have partnerships with the Confucius Institute U.S. Center, a U.S.-based affiliate of the Beijing-based Confucius Institute Headquarters. The institute, also known as Hanban, is affiliated with the Chinese Ministry of Education.

Many of Hanban’s directors are members of the Chinese Communist Party or have close ties to the organization, The Daily Caller has previously reported.

With just over a month to go, the campaign to recall California Gov. Gavin Newsom has nearly reached the required number of signatures needed to qualify for a statewide ballot.

As of Sunday, Recall Gavin 2020 – one of two committees organizing the effort – says petitioners have gathered more than 1.4 million signatures out of the necessary 1,495,709.

The campaign will need to gather signatures well above the number to compensate for the signatures that will inevitably be invalidated. Their deadline is March 17.

The Arizona Senate yesterday failed to vote on holding the Maricopa Board of Supervisors in contempt of court-related the Board’s efforts in preventing a valid audit of results in the County.

Last week we reported that the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors was likely to hold in contempt for failing to comply with the Arizona Senate’s request to perform an independent forensic audit of the County’s 2020 election results:

But the Arizona Senate decided not to hold the Maricopa officials in contempt yesterday per Arizona Central:

An attempt by Republican state senators to hold the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors in contempt failed on Monday as lawmakers seek to conduct their own audit of the presidential election results.

Breaking with the GOP caucus and casting the crucial vote against the measure, which could have led to the supervisors’ arrests, Sen. Paul Boyer said he wanted to give the county and Senate more time to work out their ongoing legal dispute over the Legislature’s proposed audit.


“Today’s vote merely provides a little bit more time for us to work together charitably and amicably as friends,” Boyer, R-Glendale, told the Senate.

Boyer said the Board of Supervisors does not have any policy disagreement with additional audits of the last election and that his vote was not intended as an end of the process.

“My vote is about patience,” he said.

One thing is for sure. The good old boys’ networks around the country in politics are killing this country and allowing crimes to go unpunished.

This is very disappointing based on the many actions the Board has taken to prevent a transparent and valid review of their votes knowing there is so much potential for issues in the County’s election results.

Former CIA Director Michael Hayden cheered after President Biden said former President Donald Trump should not receive intelligence briefings, a much different response than he gave to a similar proposal just two and a half years ago.

Biden told CBS News that Trump’s “erratic behavior” justified pulling his access to intelligence briefings. Hayden reacted to the news with a tweet, saying, “It’s about time!”

But he wasn’t so enthused two and a half years ago, when Trump was the one who reportedly considered restricting former President Barack Obama’s access.

In August 2018, Hayden told CNN the idea was “an almost unspeakable proposal” that is “so un-American. It’s hard to imagine that happening in any but the most autocratic governments in the world.”

Hayden wasn’t a Trump fan because the President was reversing the precedents Hayden created while Director. We reported in August 2019:

The CIA under General Michael Hayden set some very disturbing precedents which he failed to address in his book or in his ramblings on CNN. President Trump appears to want to reverse them.

President Trump appears to want to bring back accountability for abuses of power among CIA leadership. Another effort by the President is in protecting the rank and file. These efforts will go a long way in restoring confidence in the CIA rank.

Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said on Monday that he, Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and former President Donald Trump’s counsel had reached an agreement on the structure for the upcoming impeachment trial.

That structure will include four hours divided evenly between the Impeachment Managers and Trump’s counsel to present arguments on Tuesday regarding the constitutionality of the trial, followed by a vote.

If the trial proceeds, there will be up to sixteen hours for the Impeachment Managers in the House to lay out their case starting on Wednesday, and 16 hours for Trump’s defense.

There will then be equal time provided for senator’s questions, closing arguments and Senate deliberations.

It will be up to the managers to request witnesses.

“For the information of the Senate, the Republican leader and I, in consultation with both the House managers and Former President Trump’s lawyers, have agreed to a bipartisan resolution to govern the structure and timing of the impending trial,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said from the Senate floor.

“All parties have agreed to a structure that will ensure a fair and honest Senate impeachment trial of the former president,” Schumer said.

A number of severely ill Covid-19 patients made a full recovery within five days after being treated with a relatively unknown cancer drug, according to multiple media reports in Israel today.  Researchers at the Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv told Israeli’s KAN News network that out of 30 seriously ill Covid-patients that were treated with the drug, 29 showed a significant improvement within two days and all were released within three to five days.  One patient ultimately did recover but this took “a few days” longer, according to the hospital’s Covid-19 lead, professor Nadir Arber.  Source: CityA.M. - Read the full article

Peter Navarro, President Trump’s Assistant to the President, Director of Trade and Manufacturing Policy, and the National Defense Production Act policy coordinator, spoke out today on Sunday Morning Futures about former Attorney General William Barr.  According to Peter Navarro, Bill Barr was fast-tracking Biden’s Executive Orders while he was slow-walking President Trump’s.  Navarro shared that the last checkmark that had to be done to complete the Executive Order (EO) process was to run the order by the Department of Justice (DOJ):  Here’s the news behind the news.  Bill Barr, President Trump’s Attorney General, also it turns out, happens to be Joe Biden’s first Attorney General because here was what was happening.  We had over 30 executive orders queued after Election Day, ready to go but we kept running into these roadblocks, roadblocks, and hurdles.  It turned out that Bill Barr’s office of legal counsel was fast-tracking all of these Biden EO’s and basically it was a Deep State coup.  Now this has implications Maria.  Navarro went on to explain how the DOJ helped approve a Biden EO where he allowed the Chinese access to the US power grid which would have horrible consequences if the US gets into a predicament with China.  Biden’s order will allow China to take down the US grid and Barr’s DOJ approved it.  At the same time, Navarro was unable to get through an order on offshoring which never went through the DOJ.

Dozens of angry voters have accused freshman Michigan Republican Peter Meijers of 'betraying' them during a heated, virtual town hall on Zoom in which the first-time legislator repeatedly defended his decision to impeach former President Trump.

Senior adviser to former President Donald Trump, Jason Miller, said on Saturday that Trump is deciding how he will reemerge on social media, including considering whether to create his own platform.  “I would expect that we will see the president reemerge on social media,” Miller told Breitbart News Saturday on SiriusXM 125.                                                                              

“Whether that’s joining an existing platform or creating his new platform, there are a number of different options and a number of different meetings that they’ve been having on that front. Think again, according to a new post-election survey.  In a Wednesday news release, the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University revealed only 32 percent of American adults said they preferred socialism to capitalism in the aftermath of the presidential election last fall. Former Hillary Clinton Attorney Marc Elias spearheaded the Democrat Party’s efforts in the 2020 election to force the courts to change election rules and procedures in key battleground states.  As Breitbart reported, in 2016, Elias was also responsible for funneling money from Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to the Fusion GPS opposition research firm, which produced the fraudulent “Russia dossier.”

Elias pushed Democrat policies that ensured the 2020 election would be less dependable and less secure. Elias of Perkins Coie was also behind an agreement in Georgia, one filed by Stacey Abrams’ nonprofit, the “New Georgia Project,” (NGP) filed on May 8, 2020.  This agreement was also signed by the controversial and crooked GOP Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.  Marc Elias worked with Stacey Abrams in Georgia to ensure Democrats win the election using absentee ballots.

For weeks now pro-Trump Republicans have argued that faulty voting machines used in the 2020 election are faulty and unreliable at best. There is plenty of proof to back this up.  Earlier this week top Democrat elections attorney Marc Elias agreed.  Former Rep. Claudia Tenney was declared the winner in New York’s 22nd congressional district this week. Tenney defeated far-left Rep. Anthony Brindisi by 125 votes.  In a legal filing on behalf of Brindisi, Marc Elias challenged the faulty voting machines for the Democrat lawmaker’s loss.  Elias wrote:  "In this case, there is reason to believe that voting tabulation machines misread hundreds if not thousands of valid votes as undervotes, (supra at 4), and that these tabulation machine errors disproportionately affected Brindisi, (id.). Hero Jesse Morgan was on Lou Dobbs on Thursday night and he described the harassment he and his family faced from the FBI and OIG for sharing his story about driving a truck load of ballots from New York to Pennsylvania before the 2020 election.

The whole thing from the start to the end, I tried to tell my story and especially the OIG guy, this Special Agent Ford, they or he calls himself short, he at times really was reaming at me, just going at me, trying to mix up my words and speed balling to the next question, and I’m like whoa whoa whoa whoa.  Asking questions that weren’t relevant or asking questions that I wouldn’t even know.  The very last question he asked was how did I end up on TV and I’m just like, are you serious?

We have the name, email and phone number of a senior DOJ official from a US Attorney that said that this individual was shutting down any DOJ or FBI investigation into any election, any election related investigation and trying to shut down Judicial cases, court cases.

So from inside our own DOJ people were shutting down active investigations.  You wonder why Mr. Barr didn’t find or see any evidence of widespread election fraud, is because the FBI never did anything other than to impede investigations into election fraud.  The FBI went to question truck drivers who delivered ballots and created affidavits.  They started harassing the Americans, patriotic Americans, who were whistleblowers and prosecuting them.”  

We reported on the FBI gang’s effort to harass and defame the innocent (real) whistleblower who gave up much to go public and report on the truck load of ballots he moved from New York to Pennsylvania.  These ballots were likely all for Joe Biden and illegal.  But we will never know because the FBI did not investigate the crime, they harassed the whistleblower.

(BTW – Lou Dobbs was exceptional in his interaction with this man who was abused by the FBI.)  We claimed in December that our FBI is a joke.  It needs to be fixed now and every one of the crooks within the FBI need to be fired and prosecuted for their misdeeds.

You’re not alone – Lots of Republican voters don’t buy into the results of the fraudulent election.  According to a new poll, 65% of Republicans say that Joe Biden was not legitimately elected.  About two-thirds of Republicans say Joe Biden was not legitimately elected president, according to a new poll conducted barely two weeks after he was inaugurated.  The poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research shows 33% of Republicans say Biden was legitimately elected as the 46th president of the United States, while 65% say he was not. Overall, roughly two-thirds of Americans say Biden was legitimately elected; nearly all Democrats say so.

The lead attorney representing Dominion Voting Systems has come out swinging against OAN for airing Mike Lindell’s two-hour election fraud special — and claims that they “warned” the network not to air it.  Lindell’s film titled “Absolute Proof,” aired on the network in the form of a paid advertisement, with a disclaimer that it was not an OAN report.   The disclaimer said that Lindell “purchased the airtime for the broadcast of this program” and it “is not the product of OAN’s reporting.”  Dominion’s lead attorney Thomas Clare responded to the film on Friday, telling Law & Crime that the network is still a lawsuit target despite the disclaimer.  Source: The Gateway Pundit 

According to federal filings, Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) campaign paid her husband’s consulting firm $2.9 million during the 2020 election cycle.  That’s 78% of the firm’s intake.  

The E Street Group, a D.C. consulting firm owned by Tim Mynett, Omar’s husband, and his partner Will Hailer, received $3.7 million from political committees this past cycle. Omar’s campaign was by far its biggest moneymaker, doling out 146 checks for $2.9 million, or 78 percent of the firm’s payments. Its second biggest cash source was Omar mentor Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D., Wash.), whose campaign provided $194,000. The two combined for 85 percent of the firm’s payments.

Omar’s payments to E Street constituted a large part of her campaign expenditures. Her committee spent $5.2 million, meaning that the $2.9 million that she funneled to her husband’s firm was 56 percent of the campaign’s operational costs. The attorneys for former President Donald Trump will make procedural objections a focus during the Senate impeachment trial next week, including by questioning whether Trump can be tried as a private citizen, one of his attorneys said.

House Democrats, joined by 10 Republicans, impeached Trump on a single charge of inciting a mob that breached the Capitol on Jan. 6. In a trial memorandum, Trump attorneys denied the allegations and challenged the constitutionality of trying Trump after he had left office.

“This is ‘Law School 101’ stuff. This isn’t advanced legal treatises in bound volumes that are used in the Supreme Court as references,” Attorney Bruce Castor Jr. told Reuters. “We’re trying to win a case on a bunch of procedural objections.”

Challenging the constitutionality of the proceedings will likely be enough to exonerate the president considering that all but five Republican senators had already voted in favor of a resolution declaring the trial unconstitutional. Democrats need the support of at least 17 Republicans to secure a conviction.

In a speech on Jan. 6, Trump told a crowd of supporters to cheer on the lawmakers in Congress and make their voices heard peacefully. Democrats and establishment media outlets have instead misframed portions of his speech to falsely suggest that he told the crowd to “fight like hell.” Trump was addressing his own efforts in challenging the integrity of the election when he used the phrase “fight like hell.”

A crowd of people had already breached the perimeter of the Capitol while Trump was still speaking a roughly 45-minute walking distance away.

In a trial memorandum, Trump’s accusers argued that presidents who commit misconduct late in their terms should not be immune from the very process the U.S. Constitution created to hold them accountable.

Castor and his co-counsel David Schoen were hired on Sunday after Trump parted ways with his prior defense team. Trump is only the third U.S. president to be impeached and the first to be impeached twice and face trial after leaving office.

Castor on Thursday rejected a request for Trump to testify at the impeachment proceeding.

“Your letter only confirms what is known to everyone: you cannot prove your allegations against the 45th president of the United States, who is now a private citizen,” Castor wrote in a letter to the Democrats’ impeachment manager, Rep. Jamie Raskin (R-Md.) “The use of our Constitution to bring a purported impeachment proceeding is much too serious to try to play these games.”

Former President Donald Trump’s account on the social media website Gab was active this week, in what appeared to be his first post since leaving the White House last month.

The account posted a copy of the letter Trump’s lawyers wrote to Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), the House of Representatives’ lead impeachment manager.

In the letter, they rejected his attempt to get Trump to testify in the upcoming impeachment trial.

Requests for comment to Trump’s political action committee and his lead impeachment defense lawyer weren’t immediately returned.

On Tuesday, November 3rd President Trump was ahead of Joe Biden in the swing state of Michigan by over 100,000 votes.  This appeared to be another solid win for President Trump in Michigan with a greater margin than his 2016 victory. The ballot counting in Detroit, Michigan on election night took place at the TCF Center, formerly known as Cobo Hall.

This is the site where Detroit City Officials put cardboard over the windows to prevent the GOP observers from seeing in, where poll workers were militantly hostile to the GOP observers, and where hundreds of affidavits by election observers claim they witnessed voter fraud.  At least three election observers testified in sworn affidavits that they witnessed vehicles delivering fraudulent ballots to the TCF Center early in the morning on November 4th.

Michigander Shane Trejo witnessed the 3:30 am Biden Ballot Drop that gave Joe Biden an outstanding lift. “There were thousands of ballots in each box,” Trejo says. “There were at least 50 boxes that I saw unloaded at 3:30 am, well after the 8:00 pm deadline for ballots to show up.”

The 3:30 am was the first ballot delivery since 10:30 pm when 138,000 ballots showed up suddenly. Shane later testified that he noticed that the city of Detroit Clerk’s Office and its emblem were written on the white van that showed up with the ballots. City Clerk Janice Winfrey‘s name was on the van and a number presumably for Janet Winfrey’s office. Trejo says the ballots could not be processed when they arrived, so by the time they were counted, a new shift of poll workers had come in for the day.

Shane Trejo explained how the timing was important.  The Biden Ballot Drop took place at the end of one shift. The ballots were left uncounted. So when the new shift came to count ballots they didn’t know where the ballots had come from.  Trejo repeatedly asked about this truck to site supervisors and was STONEWALLED.  Former Michigan State Senator Pat Colbeck was also present at the TCF Center on the morning of November 4th. Senator Colbeck also witnessed the 3:30 am Biden Ballot Drop.  Colbeck spoke with The Gateway Pundit back in November, “I went back there and I witnessed a mini-panel truck if you will with a Detroit Election Bureau regalia all over the side and a vehicle ID number on it… And inside of it, and this gets into some chain of custody discussions, there was no indication that there was a Republican and a Democrat (present) during transfer. We don’t know if they stopped by a sidestreet in Coney Island and picked up a few more ballots during transfer. We have no way of verifying any of that information.”

The authorities and media in Michigan were completely uninterested in following up on this shocking story.

A man who was carjacked at gunpoint while he shoveled out a parking space in West Town on Tuesday night is refusing to press charges in the case, according to Chicago police.

The victim “felt sorry for them” and felt that the four people Chicago police found riding around in his freshly-hijacked Lexus have had a rough life, according to a source.  He also reportedly told investigators that the hijackers probably just needed a car.  Police said the 28-year-old man was shoveling out a parking space in the 1400 block of North Cleaver around 11:40 Tuesday night when two men pulled up in a car and pointed a handgun at him. They took his money and car keys, then drove away with his Lexus, the man told cops.  At 1:20 a.m., police found the stolen car in traffic on the 5100 block of West Madison and pulled it over. Officers detained the four occupants: a 19-year-old man, a 19-year-old woman, a 15-year-old boy, and a 15-year-old girl.

No charges will be filed against any of them in connection with the matter because the victim refused to prosecute, police confirmed Wednesday morning.  The 19-year-old man, John Daniels of the South Shore neighborhood, is being detained on an outstanding warrant in a different matter, according to CPD.  Source: CWBChicago

Joe Biden is re-opening a child migrant detention center, but neither the establishment media nor left-wing politicians appear to care. The response is starkly different from when President Trump operated the detention centers he inherited from the Obama-Biden administration.

A recent article states:  The Biden administration is opening an overflow facility for unaccompanied migrant children apprehended at the US-Mexico border, the federal agency tasked with the children’s care told CNN in a statement.  The Health and Human Services Department will reopen a facility in Carrizo Springs, Texas, that can accommodate about 700 children and can be expanded if necessary.  The reopening of the facility comes amid an increase in apprehensions of unaccompanied children on the Southwest border, fueled in part by deteriorating conditions in Latin America and a perceived possible relaxation of enforcement, and reduced capacity limits at other facilities due to Covid-19. It also comes as President Joe Biden rolls out new immigration executive orders tackling migration to the US southern border.  The silence from the national, establishment media as well as Democrats on Capitol Hill has been notable.  Once known for crying at a fence overlooking a parking lot, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has – at the time of publication – said nothing about Biden’s new move to “put kids in cages.”  National advocacy groups are also silent, and outlets such as the New York Times and CNN have failed to criticize Biden and his regime for re-opening the center and congregating migrant children in close conditions.

Perhaps the most important part of why these centers need to reopen in the first instance is the most important: the relaxation of enforcement. Chuck Grassley fired off a series of questions in a letter to Acting Attorney General Monty Wilkinson and FBI Director Christopher Wray, requesting information pertaining to the agencies' activities surrounding civil unrest that has occurred in the U.S.  The letter comes in addition to another letter that Sen. Grassley, an Iowa Republican, and Sen. Dick Durbin, an Illinois Democrat, submitted to the FBI director and acting attorney general inquiring about issues pertaining to the Jan. 6 attack at the U.S. Capitol.  "Today, Senator Durbin and I sent a letter to you regarding the January 6 Capitol Complex attack. I am writing this follow-on letter to gather additional information regarding the security posture and planning provided in advance of and during the events of summer 2020 and recent events in Oregon and Washington," Grassley wrote. "Like many Americans, I have been deeply troubled by the rioting, looting, anti-police attacks, and deaths which have occurred this summer. California Governor Gavin Newsom is facing the very real possibility of a recall vote this year, as more than 80% of the necessary signatures to trigger a recall have been collected amid a plummeting approval rating for the once popular governor with presidential aspirations. 

The cause of his fading approval numbers appears to be his handling of the coronavirus pandemic in the Golden State. According to a Fox News report, "A new Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies survey of over 10,000 registered voters in California found that 46 percent approved of Newsom's job performance – a sharp decline from the 64 percent approval rating he held last September."  The number who feel that Newsom has done an excellent job dealing with the pandemic has fallen from 49% last September, to just 31% last week.  The Berkeley survey states that "only about half (47%) have a great deal or some trust in the way the Governor and state government are setting the rules when issuing stay-at-home orders or setting guidelines for business to follow to slow the spread of the virus, with majorities describing them as inconsistent (62%), confusing (60%) and ineffective (53%)."  With more than 1.3 million of the 1.5 million signatures needed to trigger the recall already obtained, the survey found that "if a recall election is held, 45 percent of respondents plan to support the governor, while 36 percent would vote against him. Another 19 percent said they are undecided."  Newsom could be helped by the fact that the number of daily new cases has dramatically improved in recent weeks, having gone from 53,700 new cases on Dec. 15 to just 12,000 new cases on Tuesday, based on data collected by the state of California.  Source Just the News

A new U.K.-based study has found that the majority of people who were previously infected with COVID-19 have very high levels of antibodies for six months or more following an initial infection, possibly protecting them from a second infection for that time period.  

On Wednesday, Reuters reported that Naomi Allen, professor and chief scientist at the U.K. Biobank — where the study was carried out — said that long-lasting antibodies prompt researchers to believe reinfection during that period of time will be rare.  The study was carried out on 20,000 volunteers and was composed of a combination of existing U.K. Biobank participants and their adult children and grandchildren over the age of 18 years.  The resulting report pointed out, "Among participants who had tested positive for previous COVID-19 infection, 99% retained antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 for three months, the results showed. After the full six months of follow-up in the study, 88% still had them."  "The vast majority of people retain detectable antibodies for at least six months after infection with the coronavirus," Allen explained. "Although we cannot be certain how this relates to immunity, the results suggest that people may be protected against subsequent infection for at least six months following natural infection."  Source: Blaze News

House Republicans Prepare To Oust Liz Cheney From Leadership

House Republicans are gearing up for a referendum on Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney’s role in leadership this week after she supported Democrats’ rushed second impeachment of former President Donald Trump.  Cheney ignited backlash from her own party three weeks ago when she announced her support for Democrats’ plan to remove the outgoing president days before the end of his term. The three-term Wyoming congresswoman claimed her choice to indict the president whose restrained foreign policy approach she frequently opposed was a “vote of conscience.”  The timing of her move on the eve of the vote hurt members of the caucus she ostensibly leads, according to many members. DC Public Schools have announced that they will be using a race-based curriculum sent out by Black Lives Matter to teach students during Black History Month.  An email sent to parents refers to children as “communal children” and prioritizes “disrupting the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement.”  According to a report from the Daily Wire, who obtained the email, the program calls for allowing everyone to “choose their own gender,” even children in elementary school.  The critical race theory-based curricula uses Black Lives Matter’s “13 Guiding Principles,” which the Wire reports pushes for “queer and transgender affirmation and ‘restorative justice,’ among other priorities. The guide calls for the dismantling of the ‘patriarchal practice’ of requiring mothers to parent their children while also participating in ‘justice work.'  “We are committed to disrupting the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and ‘villages’ that collectively care for one another,” the guide reads. “Especially ‘our’ children.”  The Nationalist Review reported on this curriculum back in August, reporting that “schools in Massachusetts, Maryland, California, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, North Carolina and many more have all signed onto the effort. Multiple teachers’ unions have signed onto the effort as well.”  The NR also notes that it directly pushes globalism.  “Globalism means that we are thinking about all the different people all over the world, and thinking about the ways to keep things fair everywhere,” their guide states.

Newsmax host Bob Sellers had My Pillow founder Mike Lindell on his show to talk about big tech censorship — then ended up censoring him as well.  Lindell was appearing on “American Agenda” to discuss the fact that he and his company were both recently banned from Twitter.  

The segment was supposed to be focusing on big tech tyranny and censorship, but Sellers ultimately ended up doing the very thing that his show was attempting to criticize.  As Lindell began to explain why he was silenced on social media — his belief that the election was rigged and that Dominion Voting Machines played a role in it — Sellers promptly jumped in to read a prepared statement about how Newsmax accepts the election results.  “What happened with your Twitter account and the company page?” the show’s co-host asks.  “Well, first mine was taking down because we have all this election fraud with these Dominion machines — we have 100 percent proof —” Lindell began before Sellers interjected to cut him off.  “Mike, thank you very much, Mike, Mike — you’re talking about machines that we at Newsmax have not been able to verify any of, uh, those kinds of allegations. We just want to let people know that there’s nothing substantive that we have seen. Let me read you something there,” Sellers says as Lindell attempts to continue speaking.  Sellers proceeds to read off a statement saying “there were some clear evidence of some cases of vote fraud and election irregularities, the election results in every state were certified and Newsmax accepts the results as legal and final. A reporter covering the in-fighting between the pro-Trump wing of the Republican Party and those in support of Rep. Liz Cheney (Wyo.) was stunned to find the lack of support for Cheney and instead a lot of anger among Wyoming residents.  Politico reporter Tara Palmeri went to Wyoming to see the response to an anti-Cheney rally on Thursday in Cheyenne by Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida, a supporter of former President Donald Trump.  "I think that they see themselves now on a crusade for Donald Trump," Palmeri said in an interview Friday on MSNBC.  "Donald Trump is way more popular than she is from the people I spoke to, and I actually went out of my way to try to find someone who would defend her, and I couldn't," she added.  Palmeri said that she talked to many people at the rally with Gaetz, but also went out and spoke to others in the community. Google is slated to shell out millions of dollars after arriving at a settlement regarding allegations of pay and hiring discrimination.  "During a routine compliance evaluation, the department's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs identified pay disparities affecting female employees in software engineering positions at its facilities in Mountain View, and in Seattle and Kirkland, Washington," according to a Labor Department press release. "The agency also identified hiring rate differences that disadvantaged female and Asian applicants for software engineering positions at Google's locations in San Francisco and Sunnyvale, and in Kirkland."

The big tech company will "pay $3,835,052 to resolve OFCCP's allegations, namely $1,353,052 in back pay and interest to 2,565 female employees in engineering positions subject to pay discrimination; and $1,232,000 in back pay and interest to 1,757 female and 1,219 Asian applicants for software engineering positions not hired," according to the release. Google will also, "Allocate a cash reserve of least $1,250,000 in pay-equity adjustments for the next 5 years for U.S. employees in engineering positions at Google's Mountain View, Kirkland, Seattle and New York establishments, locations that house approximately 50 percent of Google's engineering employees nationwide," according to the press release. An 84-year old man is dead after a horrific daytime attack in San Francisco’s Anza Vista neighborhood. ABC7 News obtained video of the incident that may be disturbing to some viewers.  San Francisco police say their suspect Antoine Watson, 19, attacked the senior along Anza Vista and Fortuna Avenues Thursday morning. It’s not clear Watson’s motivation.  Officers discovered an 84-year-old man lying on the sidewalk, rendered aid and summoned medics to transport the victim to a hospital for life-threatening injuries.  The victim was taken to the hospital for life-threatening injuries and passed away Saturday.  The initial investigation concluded that a male suspect ran from across the street to push the victim, causing him to fall to the pavement, police said. If you’re a reporter with a tough question for the White House press secretary, Joe Biden’s staff wouldn’t mind knowing about it in advance.  According to three sources with knowledge of the matter, as well as written communications reviewed by The Daily Beast, the new president’s communications staff have already on occasion probed reporters to see what questions they plan on asking new White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki when called upon during briefings.

The requests prompted concerns among the White House press corps, whose members, like many reporters, are sensitive to the perception that they are coordinating with political communications staffers.  One reporter raised the issue during an informal White House Correspondents Association Zoom call last Friday. According to multiple sources, leaders at the meeting advised print reporters to push back against requests by the White House press team to learn of questions in advance, or simply to not respond to the Biden team’s inquiries.

Last week news broke that Dominion Voting Systems threatened My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell with a letter dated December 23, 2020, from defamation lawyers. In the letter, Dominion lawyer Thomas A. Clare called Lindell’s attacks on the voting company used in all six contested states “implausible,” adding they have “no basis in reality.”

100 Percent Fed Up later reported – Mike Lindell is not the only person who received a threatening letter from Dominion—at least one GOP poll challenger in Michigan (who never even mentioned Dominion in her affidavit) received a threatening letter from Dominion.

A pastor in Calgary says his wife was put in mandatory quarantine in Canada after her flight arrived in Calgary. Officials told Nikki Mathis she would be required to quarantine for two weeks. And authorities will not disclose where they took the woman.

Then-Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe was aware of crucial exculpatory evidence regarding the firing of FBI Director James Comey when he opened an obstruction of justice investigation into then-President Donald Trump in mid-May of 2017 over Comey’s removal, according to documents declassified by Trump during his last days in office.  Trump fired Comey on May 9, 2017, roughly three weeks after Comey told Congress that the FBI was investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election, as well as alleged links between Moscow and the Trump campaign. The Biden administration ceremoniously halted the border wall construction Wednesday as part of the onslaught of overturning Trump’s greatest accomplishments, as the new administration’s only “accomplishment” as of yet. Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott on Thursday vowed to oppose what he called the Biden administration’s bid to destroy jobs with its volley of actions targeting the oil and gas industry.

Abbott signed an executive order during a press conference in Odessa on Thursday, which directed all state agencies to sue the Biden administration for any federal actions that threaten the Lone Star state’s energy sector.

“Texas is going to protect the oil and gas industry from any type of hostile attack launched from Washington D.C.,” Abbott said. “President Biden’s embrace of the green new deal is a job killer in Texas. Janet Yellen was recently paid more than $800,000 in *speaking fees* by Citadel.

Fox News reported: Yellen’s financial disclosure shows her making $337,500 for multiple days in Oct. of 2020 from Citadel. She similarly banked $292,500 in October of 2019 and $180,000 in December of that year.  Citadel and Point72 infused nearly $3 billion into Melvin Capital, a hedge fund that took a beating after betting against GameStop as Reddit traders caused GME to soar.  On Thursday, Robinhood, an online brokerage firm, blocked retail investors trading GameStop and other stocks – a clear manipulation – in order to stop the bleeding and protect Citadel, a multinational hedge fund with a vested interest in Robinhood.

In December a Vice Chairman from the federal government’s Election Assistance Commission (EAC) spoke before the Senate.  In his printed testimony the Vice Chairman said the EAC had two accredited voting system test laboratories – in reality they had none.

We uncovered yesterday that the Board of Supervisors in Arizona’s Maricopa County claimed that they would only use certified or accredited auditors in an audit demanded by the Arizona Senate.  This action prevented them from using expert Jovan Pulitzer who claims he can look at all the ballots in the county and isolate those ballots which aren’t valid.  But the Board of Supervisors don’t want this so they made up this excuse that they would only select audit firms accredited by the EAC.  The result was the County Board of Supervisors selected their preferred auditors who would rubber stamp their results – Pro V&V and SLI Compliance – and this would prevent Pulitzer from analyzing all the County’s ballots.  Source:  The Gateway Pundit

Right wing political circles have been abuzz over the past 24hours after a Reuters report implied that Proud Boys Chairman Enrique Tarrio had worked extensively as an informant for federal and local law enforcement.  Enrique Tarrio, the leader of the Proud Boys extremist group, has a past as an informer for federal and local law enforcement, repeatedly working undercover for investigators after he was arrested in 2012, according to a former prosecutor and a transcript of a 2014 federal court proceeding obtained by Reuters.  However, speaking exclusively with TGP, Tarrio is breaking his silence about his motivations and why he decided to cooperate with law enforcement after being arrested in 2012. At the time of being charged, several of Tarrio’s family members who had helped him re-sell surplus diabetic testing at a lower cost, were also charged. Former President Donald Trump held a meeting with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) on Thursday in Florida, said Trump’s team in a statement, while including a photo of him and the GOP leader.  The two had a “good and cordial” meeting at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, said Trump’s Save America PAC.  The pair discussed several topics, but the No. 1 priority was “taking back the House” for Republicans in the 2022 midterms, Trump’s team said. They did not elaborate on a strategy or what candidates to promote.  “Trump’s popularity has never been stronger than it is today,” said the statement, “and his endorsement means more than perhaps any endorsement at any time.” Trump now will work with McCarthy on boosting the GOP in the House races.  McCarthy and Trump “worked very well together in the last election and picked up at least 15 seats when most predicted it would be the opposite,” Trump’s team wrote. “They will do so again, and the work has already started.” In response, McCarthy touted a “united conservative movement” with Trump to stop the “radical Democrat agenda.”  Source: The Epoch Times

The state has totaled over 42,000 deaths so far.  Governor Cuomo has never faced any scrutiny for his policies that forced sick people back to the nursing home.

The New York Young Republicans have announced a “Re-Occupy Wall Street” protest in Zuccotti Park in response to brokers shutting down trading on Game Stop and other memed stocks.  The shut down of purchasing stocks caused the price to crash, helping rich hedge fund managers and hurting the lower class who were buying the stocks.  The protest will be taking place on Sunday, January 31, at noon. The organizers are encouraging people to dress warmly.  “Let your voices be heard! A coalition of state attorneys general on Wednesday sent a letter to President Joe Biden reminding him that any potentially unconstitutional executive actions or federal overreach will not go unchallenged.  The letter, signed by six attorneys general (AGs), puts the Biden administration on notice that any actions that might exceed their statutory authority, are inconsistent with constitutional tenets, or place civil liberties at risk could trigger legal action by the states.  “We stand ready to meet with your administration to discuss more how the issues below affect our States; litigation is never first option, and we would like to help your team in its important job on behalf of all Americans, consistent with the Constitution and the rule of law,” West Virginia AG Patrick Morrisey, who is leading the group, wrote in the letter addressed to the White House.  Source:  The Epoch Times

The memorandum from President Joe Biden’s administration halting most deportations for 100 days affects 85 percent of all criminal alien deportations, according to a new analysis.

A federal judge in Texas on Tuesday blocked the order from going into effect but if it does ultimately pass through the courts, it would stop immigration officers from deporting approximately 85 percent of illegal immigrants, the Center for Immigration Studies found. Sex offenders, domestic abusers, and fraud criminals would be among those safe from being removed from the United States.

Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, asserted that tech industry leaders and Democrats such as Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and former CIA director John Brennan are “domestic enemies” of the U.S. who are more dangerous than the rioters who stormed the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6. In a video and thread posted to Twitter Tuesday morning, the former Democratic presidential candidate denounced the violent protesters, but warned that efforts to combat insurgency through surveillance and other monitoring activities posed a greater threat to the country.

The 55–45 decision suggests that Trump will not be convicted in an impeachment trial.  Forty-five Republican senators voted against holding an impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump over his remarks at the U.S. Capitol, saying it would be unconstitutional to impeach a former president.  All but five GOP senators sided with an effort proposed by Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), sending a signal that there are not enough votes to convict Trump. Convicting a president during a Senate impeachment trial requires a two-thirds majority.

Republican Sens. Mitt Romney (Utah), Ben Sasse (Neb.), Susan Collins (Maine), Lisa Murkowski (Alaska), and Pat Toomey (Pa.) voted with Democrats to reject Paul’s order, suggesting the five senators will vote to convict Trump. FBI agents arrested ‘Walkaway’ founder Brandon Straka on Monday for his ‘actions’ at the US Capitol on January 6.  The ‘WalkAway’ campaign began on Facebook in the summer of 2018 after Straka, a handsome, gay hairdresser from New York posted a video explaining why he was walking away from the Democrat party.The Walkaway movement attracted tens of thousands of people, making Straka a target of the Marxist left.

Straka, 44, was taken into custody on Monday by agents from the FBI Omaha Field Office and faces charges of impeding a law enforcement officer during civil disorder, knowingly entering and remaining on restricted grounds without lawful authority and/or engaging in disorderly conduct within proximity to a restricted building to impede official functions and engaging in disorderly conduct with intent to disturb a hearing before Congress.

A federal judge in Texas temporarily blocked an executive order issued by President Joe Biden to halt the deportation of certain immigrants for 100 days.  U.S. District Judge Drew Tipton, an appointee of former President Donald Trump, issued a temporary restraining order Tuesday blocks Biden’s policy nationwide for 14 days after Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton challenged it in court.  The order is a setback to the Biden administration, which has proposed far-reaching changes including a plan to legalize about 11 million undocumented immigrants living in the United States illegally. Twitter announced a "community-led" moderation forum called Birdwatch on Monday and some users immediately began criticizing it for amplifying the possibility of shutting down free speech.

The Republican Conference chair has lost the confidence of more than half of the members she purports to lead as the third-highest ranking GOP member in the House of Representatives. She has also garnered a primary challenge and censure back in Wyoming.  “There’s a lot of concern in the conference,” Rep. Former U.S. Rep Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democratic presidential candidate from Hawaii, is raising concerns about proposed legislation introduced in the House to curb domestic terrorism. She warns that the ambiguity of the measure could be used to undercut civil liberties.

As part of the negotiations around the power-sharing arrangement, McConnell has made a demand for a promise to protect the long-standing Senate rule requiring a supermajority of 60 votes to advance most legislation, known as the legislative filibuster. Amid heated debate about doing away with the Senate’s filibuster rule, a proposal so contentious it has been dubbed the “nuclear option,” Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) told NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday that Democrats should consider abolishing the filibuster if Republicans use it to thwart the Democrats’ priority legislation.

Progressives have been pushing to scrap the filibuster rule, which was originally adopted to give the minority party a stronger voice in the Senate and prevent partisan control of the upper chamber by the majority. The rule essentially requires a super-majority threshold, now at 60 votes, to cut off debate in the Senate and bring legislative bills or other measures to a vote.

The increased censorship of people’s views expressed on social media by Big Tech companies has been part of an orchestrated attack on the First Amendment, Patrick Wood, director and founder of Citizens for Free Speech, told The Epoch Times.  Wood believes that there is an agenda behind the censorship. The World Health Organization (WHO) has cautioned experts not to rely solely on the results of a PCR test to detect the CCP virus.  In updated guidance published on Jan. 20, the WHO said that lab experts and health care practitioners should also consider the patient’s history and epidemiological risk factors alongside the PCR test in diagnosing the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus.  The new guidance could result in significantly fewer daily cases.  Source: The Epoch Times

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced he was ordering the Texas National Guard home from Washington, after reports that some members were told to take their rest breaks in a parking garage Thursday night.  Texas is one of three states to order guard members home. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu also ordered their troops home.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) issued a statement Friday announcing the article of impeachment of former President Trump will be delivered to the Senate on Monday. The article passed by a vote of 232 to 197 on January 13. Ten Republicans, led by Rep. Liz Cheney (WY), joined all 222 Democrats in voting to impeach Trump. The article calls for Trump to be barred from ever again holding federal office, if convicted that would stop Trump from a 2024 run for the presidency.
