Ant Middleton, British Special Forces Hero: Setting the record straight on everything “woke”
Updated: Mar 4, 2021
Mar 4, 2021: It is difficult to express the uselessness of contemporary ‘woke religions’ (Cancel Culture, BLM, Antifa, Covid Health Policy Fascism, Critical Race Theory, Climate Change, PC Culture, and Intersectionalism) any better than the words chosen by British Special Forces hero Ant Middleton. During a recent series of interviews, former SAS & SBS commander Ant Middleton offered fully transparent comments regarding the hottest topics of the day, most notably those relating to useless and fictional woke movements. If there is anyone perfectly positioned to stand up to ‘woke’ fascists and the rigged ‘machinery’ that comes with ‘woke’ dogma, it is a courageous hero like Middleton.
Ant Middleton’s background is not only impressive, but it is forged in displays of absolute courage and service to his country throughout his decorated career as a commander in the British Special Air Service (SAS) and Special Boat Service (SBS). Middleton’s various special forces units specialized in classified surveillance, counterterrorism, hostage rescue, direct action and covert renaissance. (Britannica; March 2021) Since his days as a SAS commander, Middleton has been using his British Special Forces skills to lead and execute extreme adventures often documented for TV programs. In 2017, Middleton captained a team of men in Channel 4's re-enactment of Captain William Bligh's journey after the infamous 'Mutiny on the Bounty’. Together, he and his team navigated over 4000 miles in some of the world's most unforgiving seas, challenged by hunger and confined to the small space of a simple wooden boat. More recently, Middleton is best known as the Chief Instructor for Channel 4’s hit show, ‘SAS : Who Dares Wins’. In Channel 4’s ‘Escape’, Middleton led teams of engineers who had to rely on survival skills in order to escape the harsh and remote environments of jungles, glaciers, and deserts. In 2018, the Channel 4 documentary ‘Extreme Everest’ detailed Middleton’s attempt to climb Mount Everest, a climb that failed just short of the summit due to extreme weather conditions. Middleton has also authored two best selling books (‘First Man In: Leading from the Front’ and 'The Fear Bubble’) based on his life experiences and positive mental attitude. In total, Middleton is a fearless patriot, a special forces hero, and a rare example of courage in every aspect of life. (News.com.au – Amy Jones; March 2, 2021)
In spite of this impressive track record and those who have come to know and love Middleton’s example of patriotism and courage, British broadcaster Channel 4 lost its spine and caved to the pressures of ‘cancel culture’ and ‘woke’ public opinion/obsession. Channel 4’s spineless decision seems to have been rooted in justifiable comments made by Middleton - comments relating to the excessive and hateful BLM violence that ran wild in the spring of 2020. In a now-deleted tweet posted last June, Middleton wrote: “BLM and EDL are not welcome on our streets, absolute scum. What a great example you are to your future generation. Bravo.” (Yahoo!News - Jake Kantor; March 2, 2021) It is important to note that Middleton’s comments were later clarified and said to be aimed specifically at video footage that caught BLM thugs in repeated acts of arson, theft and violent crimes.
More recently, Middleton has been criticized for his stance on the seriousness of covid and excessive abuses by covid public health officials. Using the Instagram social platform, Middleton stressed the importance of going about life as normal but with appropriate caution and common sense. Middleton stated emphatically:
“Am I still out traveling the world? Yes. Am I still shaking hands? Yes. Am I still embracing fans at the airport? Yes. Am I washing my hands and keeping my hygiene to a high standard as always? Yes. Has my life changed? No. Am I going to let some disease, Covid-19, dictate my life? Absolutely not. Get out there, don’t change, f*** Covid-19!” (Yahoo!News - Jake Kantor; March 2, 2021)
Channel 4’s stated position and policies smack of a sycophantic nature beholden to ‘woke’ fanaticism and doctrine. The end result? Channel 4 has figured out a way to ‘cancel’ (literally and figuratively) a courageous hero along with millions of his massive loyal following. A Channel 4 spokeswoman went on record stating, “Ant Middleton will not be taking part in future series of SAS: Who Dares Wins. Following a number of discussions Channel 4 and Minnow Films have had with him in relation to his personal conduct it has become clear that our views and values are not aligned, and we will not be working with him again.” Unlike British Channel 4, Middleton demonstrated the class of a courageous and optimistic patriot saying it is time to move on, thanking all of his colleagues with the words, “Thanks to everyone who took part [in the production of the show] and made the show what it is. I'm really excited about the future and what is coming this year.” (Yahoo!News - Jake Kantor; March 2, 2021)
The story of Ant Middleton is yet another example that reminds us of society’s sickening addiction to pathetic and senseless ‘woke’ ideology not to mention a pathology steeped in toxic strains of ‘cancel culture’. Middleton is a courageous hero who will never surrender to the woke thuggery of the day, nor will his loyal following who share his views. The sickening ideological obsessions tied to unhinged movements and pseudo-sciences like Cancel Culture, BLM, Antifa, Covid Health Policy Fascism, Critical Race Theory, Climate Change, PC Culture, and Intersectionalism will eventually fizzle out as a critical mass of people come to realize the idiotic fiction and superficiality of these bogus ‘woke’ causes. Moving forward, everyone in our EA community must embrace examples set by heroes like Ant Middleton – use these examples to fuel your inspiration, your courage, and your confidence to live freely while defeating the authoritarian and fascist ‘forces of wokeness’ that surround us.
