September 23, 2021: Freedom comes at a cost & our most courageous patriots are prepared to pay that cost. Police Sergeant David Gutierez (San Jose Police Department) is a case in point and a profile in leadership and principle. On the other hand, citizens who are either too weak-willed, too oblivious, too gullible and/or simply too selfish to think of anyone but themselves, are exacerbating the threat posed by excessive government overreach and oppressive behavior that can only be considered "nascent tyranny".
The call-to-action remains simple. All people from all walks of life must protect the concept of freedom. There should be no exceptions or compromises to the concept of freedoms and rights. Even if you are spared from the "blades of tyranny" at this moment and this time around, Tyranny will find you. Tyranny is is "equitable" and "non-discriminating" in its malice - one day or another, one way or another, it will impose its devastation on all men and women. If there was ever a unifying cause for free men and women to rally around, it should be the threat of tyranny by the privileged few. This is a time for all good men and women to be descent and to protect the early victims of tyranny.
