Ron DeSantis put Joe Biden on notice: Democrats’ socialist agenda is 'Dead on Arrival' in Florida

September 11, 2022: Joe Biden used the pandemic as an excuse to seize even more power and control over the American people.

Ron DeSantis was one Governor who rejected Biden’s pandemic power grabs.

And now Ron DeSantis just put Joe Biden on notice about trying to impose his socialist agenda on Florida in the future.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis rose to rock star status in the Republican Party for his willingness to stand up and reject Joe Biden and Anthony Fauci’s COVID rules and mandates.

DeSantis refused to enforce lockdowns and banned masks and vaccine mandates in Florida.

The Florida Governor also fought back against the Biden administration’s attempt to use federal funds to essentially force states to go along with the Left’s gender insanity.

But during a recent press conference in Fort Myers, where he received an endorsement from the group Everglades Trust, DeSantis put Joe Biden on notice that his socialist agenda will never be welcome in Florida.

DeSantis pointed out that having good policy is not enough to be a successful Governor.

He said leadership, especially a willingness to fight, is also a necessary ingredient.

“We’ve shown the leadership necessary to get all this done, and that’s really the most important commodity,” DeSantis said.

DeSantis reminded his supporters that although most politicians make their decisions based on polling results, he ignored the polls and only followed through on the promises he made to Floridians.

“If you don’t have the willingness to lead, if you don’t have the willingness to get out in front on issues, then you’re not going to ultimately accomplish what needs to be accomplished,” DeSantis continued.

Florida has been shifting from a swing state to a Red state ever since Ron DeSantis took office in 2018.

DeSantis pointed out that registered Republicans now outnumber Democrats in the state by more than 267,000 voters.

But he agreed that it’s not all due to his leadership over the past year and a half.

It’s also driven by Joe Biden’s failed 'Presidency'.

“I do acknowledge some of that is because people look at Biden and they’re like, I don’t want anything to do with that,” DeSantis said, before adding that Florida is a “place where sanity prevailed when the world went mad.”

DeSantis made one bold promise to Biden about his socialist agenda.

“We’re not gonna let Biden’s policies be imposed on the state of Florida,” DeSantis promised. We’re gonna make sure that we keep the state free and keep the state thriving.”

DeSantis said the pandemic made voters realize the importance of having a Governor in office who will stand up and fight for their freedoms.

“We certainly didn’t think a Governor would lock kids out of school for a year and a half or do all these crazy things, and yet that would have happened in this state, you know, had we not been successful,” DeSantis said, referencing his 2018 win over Democrat Andrew Gillum.

Since Florida voters now have first-hand experience at how their freedoms can be taken away “very quickly,” DeSantis said the Democrats’ big government agenda is “dead on arrival” in the Sunshine State.

“So in Florida, that type of policy, that type of view, is dead on arrival,” DeSantis said, adding that “we’re not gonna let it happen here.”

DeSantis ended by promising to “keep the state prospering,” protect “law and order,” remain “dedicated to educating kids, not indoctrinating kids,” and to also “deliver tax relief” to hard-working Floridians.

DeSantis has proven to be a man of his word.
