Why impeach DJT now?

According to USSENATE.GOV an official of the federal government that is convicted of "treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanor" will be removed from office.

"The Constitution requires a two-thirds vote of the Senate to convict, and the penalty for an impeached official upon conviction is removal from office. In some cases, the Senate has also disqualified such officials from holding public offices in the future. There is no appeal. Since 1789, about half of Senate impeachment trials have resulted in conviction and removal from office." (U.S. Senate)

 

With only a very small amount of time remaining in Donald Trump's first term it's obvious that the establishment politicians and other members of the deep state want to ensure that DJT never holds public office again.

 

Call to action:  Election laws need to be addressed immediately.  Make sure that elected officials understand that  Americans are all entitled to free and fair elections and that you expect your representatives have a plan to address the obvious shortfall of our current system.   It should not be difficult to reach a consensus on an issue so vital to a healthy society.  Rather than rally to the defense of either of the establishment parties we should work together to fix our voting system immediately.
