Kamala Harris picked Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, the most left-wing of her VP options, in the process passing over the clear best choice, Gov. Josh Shapiro of swing-state Pennsylvania - plainly because she didn’t dare cross the left by tapping a candidate of Jewish heritage.
