May 21, 2021: It was July of 2020 when rumors began swirling on private Facebook groups (groups the public would mock as nothing more than non-sense from crazy “conspiracy theorists”) that the Canadian Government was in the process of securing properties that would be used as “Internment Facilities" for Canadian citizens. It seemed unfathomable at the time to even consider believing this was a possibility but under Justin Trudeau’s sinister reign; however, by January of 2021 hotels deemed as “Quarantine Facilities” were fully implemented and operational. These so called “Quarantine Facilities” were presented to the public as a “safe way to isolate yourself if you were unable to do so at your own residence” especially for those who lived in “multi generational homes”. The Canadian Government once again arrogantly declared “It is for your safety and the safety of your families”. Indeed, Police Officers were instructed to snatch unsuspecting travelers from Airports across the nation (many detained against their will and often without food or water for hours on end).
This all seemed unbelievable until Chris Mathis’ (an Albertan Pastor at “The Summit Church”) Facebook post went viral pleading for help after his wife was taken against her will to one of Trudeau’s facilities by police. The officers executed KGB-like tactics by refusing to accept Nikki Mathis’ negative Covid Test taken just prior to her flight home from a business trip in Texas. Treated as though she was a hardened felon, Nikki Mathis was forcibly transferred via an unmarked vehicle to a “Quarantine Facility”.
Below is her husband Chris Mathis’ Facebook post and it paints this crime against civil rights in vivid color:
“It’s time to wake up. I can’t be silent any longer.
I have honored the C0V|D process, I have kept silent when I’ve wanted to disagree, and I have chosen to take the high road when I haven’t agreed with policies or procedures but tonight something has happened that is wildly concerning, and I can’t stay silent anymore.
My wife was in the States for work, she left 4 days ago. There were precautions she needed to take to travel safely, which she was more than willing to do, and did. Canada introduced a rapid test program in December which made traveling safe and easier during the ‘pandemic’.
She was free to travel if she had a negative test before she left for the States, and another one before she came home. Canadian airlines will NOT let you board if you do not produce a negative result before boarding. She produced her negative result before boarding the flight home tonight on January 28th, 2021.
She arrived in Calgary tonight and when she got there, she was greeted by a Police Officer and a health official. They rejected her results and told her she needed to go immediately to an isolation facility. She was told if she resisted, she would be arrested. She called me, and I immediately asked to talk with the officer. I talked with both a Police Officer and the AHS official, they reiterated what she had said to me. I asked for the address of where she would be, they said they could NOT give me the location / address as it was confidential. I asked for their names, again they would not give me any information or their names. I pushed, I questioned, I tried to fight but they said they would arrest her if she resisted. They would NOT give me any information on where they were taking my wife. She was not allowed to get her vehicle from the airport, she was immediately put in a white van surrounded by police escorts and taken to an unknown facility that is under full surveillance and has security at every entrance and exit. You can imagine I am barely keeping myself together wondering what in the world has happened in our country in what seems to be overnight.
Will you pray with me to that my wife would be kept safe, and our family and children would be kept in perfect peace while this continues to unfold. She’s an incredibly strong women who is full of faith, but she is still a young woman and mom who is traveling alone.
Our rights are slipping right before our eyes and our freedoms are being stripped. It’s time to wake up.”
Nikki Mathis is a gifted singer ironically recorded a song in April 2019 called “Stand on Guard O Canada” with prophetic accuracy.
Many people felt that Nikki and her family were unfairly and deliberately targeted by the Albertan “powers that be” and although that is an assumption that cannot be proven, Albertan Premier Jason Kenney has brutally arrested and jailed multiple pastors since Nikki’s rights were so grossly violated.
Jason Kenney has erected Russian-style Iron Curtain in his Province! In just the last 4 months under the nefarious dictates of Premier Kenney, Police have arrested and imprisoned Edmonton Pastor James Coates of GraceLife Church, Calgary Pastor Artur Pawlowski and his brother David Pawlowski of Street Life Church Ministries and Calgary Pastor Tim Stephens of Fairview Baptist Church. Kenney’s pattern of targeting and arresting Alberta’s pastors and priests is a horrendous show of force and intimidation in the form seen only in communist regimes.
The Christian Church has been forced to go underground in Alberta (resorting to homes and secret meeting places) replicating how believers’ worship in North Korea, China and the former Soviet Union practice their faith. The musical line from Nikki Mathis’ song seems to be a desperate prayer for Canadians at this point in our nation’s history: “We are standing at the battle line, this is our anthem, this is our cry, to see revival, The Nations Free, O Canada I stand on guard for thee”.
