CCP’s Accomplices to Genocide: Multinationals, Athletes & Hollywood play a key role in the Genocide

Updated: Feb 26, 2021

Feb 26, 2021: Ask yourself this question: are you ‘ok’ with our professional athletes, entertainers, and our multinational corporations participating in and profiting from the CCP’s genocide of millions of Uyghurs, Christians and Falun Gong? Ask yourself if you are comfortable with NBA ‘stars’ like Lebron James and Kevin Durant making tens of millions in sponsorship dollars for their respective roles in advocating for the CCP and multinational ‘allies’ who exploit the CCP’s genocidal concentration camps. And ask yourself if you are comfortable with obnoxious and ignorant Hollywood flakes (like Oprah Winfrey, Robert De Niro, Jimmy Kimmel, Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg) who openly throw their support behind China’s genocidal CCP regime while shaming and denigrating the caring heritage of America and the rest of the free world. Are you comfortable with any of this?

Let us begin this article with a reminder of the formal definition of ‘genocide’. According to the UN Genocide Convention (to which China’s CCP is a signatory), genocide is defined as “an act committed with the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group”. The UN Genocide Convention measures genocide according to the following five themes:

(a) Killing members of the targeted group(s)

(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the targeted group(s)

(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group(s) conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part

(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group(s)

(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group(s) to another group

According to Michael Austin of the Western Journal, “Any one of these categories constitutes a charge of genocide. The overwhelming evidence of the Chinese government’s deliberate and systematic campaign to destroy the Uyghur people clearly meets each of these categories.” (The Western Journal – Michael Austin; July 22, 2020)

The shocking context and magnitude of genocidal horrors taking place in China (at the hands of the evil CCP regime) is illustrated by the following sample of the horrifying and heart-breaking data (data that is seldom covered by mainstream media):

- Over 1 million Turkic Uighurs are currently detained in concentration camps, prisons, and forced labor factories in China

- Estimates vary but somewhere between 1 million to 3 million Uighurs are detained in the CCP’s various internment and concentration camps from year to year

- US State Department (Mike Pompeo) confirmed no fewer than 260 large concentration camps and forced labor camps are currently in operation throughout China

- Natural population growth in Xinjiang has declined dramatically; growth rates fell by 84% in the two largest Uyghur prefectures between 2015 and 2019

- Mass female sterilization in rural Uyghur regions targeted 34 percent of all married women of childbearing age in 2019

- China’s illegal organ transplant industry is estimated to be worth more than $1 billion annually (as of 2015)

- Xinjiang subjects more than 80 percent of women of childbearing age to intrusive birth prevention surgeries (via a combination of IUD’s or sterilizations)

- Between 2015 and 2018, 860,000 ethnic Han residents mysteriously ‘left’ the Xinjiang region

- Foxconn (Apple iPhone manufacturer) controls 12 giant ‘walled campus factories’ in 9 Chinese cities, the largest being the Longhua Science Complex (employing as many as 450,000 forced Uyghur laborers who are completely restricted from any outside contact)

(The Western Journal – Michael Austin; July 22, 2020 / New York Post article - Greg Baker; August 28, 2020 / US State Department Briefings – Mike Pompeo; January 2021)

Key journalists and statesmen are vivid in their description of the horrendous genocide unfolding in China. The data points used to quantify the scale of genocide are brought to life in the following qualitative observations made by expert journalists and statesmen closest to this crime against humanity:

“Over a million Turkic Uighurs are detained in concentration camps, prisons, and forced labor factories in China. Detainees are subject to military-style discipline, thought transformation, and forced confessions. They are abused, tortured, raped, and even killed. Survivors report being subjected to electrocution, waterboarding, repeated beatings, stress positions, and injections of unknown substances.” (The Western Journal – Michael Austin; July 22, 2020)

“This is one of the most disturbing stories in the world. I think when you look at what has happened to the Uyghur people, this is potentially the worst crime [against humanity] that we have seen since the Holocaust.” (US State Department - Morgan Ortagus; July 22, 2020)

“The China Tribunal in London found evidence of "forced organ harvesting" from Chinese prisoners, including Falun Gong and Uyghur Muslims. The Tribunal’s final judgment concluded that this "forced organ harvesting has been committed for years – and on a significant scale.” (Forbes – Zak Doffman; November 16, 2019)

“The United States will not stand idly by as the Chinese Communist Party carries out human rights abuses targeting Uighurs, ethnic Kazakhs and members of other minority groups in Xinjiang, to include forced labor, arbitrary mass detention, and forced population control, and attempts to erase their culture and Muslim faith.” (US State Department - Secretary of State Mike Pompeo; January 2021)

While the CCP genocidal atrocities continue to unfold before the eyes of the world, our community of multinational corporations not only ignore this travesty, but they actually participate in the genocide. Multinational corporations are complicit in this crime against humanity as they tap into the ‘massive cost efficiencies’ associated with China’s slave labor concentration camps and forced-labor factories. Similarly, these same companies leverage their insidious ties to the CCP genocidal regime by being ‘granted access’ to the massive Chinese consumer market. Take note of the following corporations and consider contacting their management teams regarding their active role in perpetuating the genocide that is occurring in China: Nike, Under Armour, Abercrombie & Fitch, Adidas, Gap, Calvin Klein, H&M, L.L.Bean, Lacoste, The North Face, Polo Ralph Lauren, Puma, Skechers, Tommy Hilfiger, Zara, Victoria’s Secret, Goertek, General Motors, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Apple, Amazon, Dell, Google, Hewlett-Packard and many others.

In a tragic saga that cuts across the most atrocious and sinister of human nature, the role played by professional athletes (and the entertainment industry in general) is particularly deviant, morally bankrupt, and unforgiveable. NBA 'prima donnas' like Lebron James, Seth Curry and Kevin Durant are raking in tens of millions in sponsorship dollars to endorse multinationals (like Nike and Under Armour) and defend the heinous genocidal actions of the CCP. The same can be said about selfish NFL hypocrites like Colin Kaepernick who are notorious for pushing bogus “woke” causes while squeezing Nike and the CCP for multi-million-dollar sponsorship deals. It is utterly sickening to think that traitors and miscreants like Lebron James and Colin Kaepernick (and their respective professional sports leagues) are allowed to get away with supporting and enabling the genocide of millions at the hands of the CCP and their complicit multinational corporate sponsors. How can the fans of these immoral creeps and hypocrites continue to support these athletes and their leagues with a clean conscience?

As seems to be a common theme these days, society finds itself at a crossroad. In the case of the genocide occurring in China, it is high time for everyone to consider how their actions (or inactions) are contributing to the death and torture of millions of innocent Uyghurs, Christians, Falun Gong and other vulnerable minorities. I have many questions. Are you boycotting professional sports and Hollywood productions? Are you boycotting products made by companies producing their products from Chinese slave labour? Are you holding progressive ‘woke’ politicians and special interest groups to their own lofty standards? Are you demanding your local and federal elected officials to do more to stop this horrendous crime? What exactly are you doing to express your outrage over this modern-day holocaust? Our crime is allowing a raft of international corporations, professional athletes, and entertainers to participate in and profit from the CCP genocide without any clear opposition or outrage to date.
